Learn the product well enough to explain it.
Product research became website content, illustrations and an aeration-fan installation manual. The detail had a job to do for the person using it.

What makes a business worth choosing. The detail a customer needs to understand. The part of the process that keeps getting in the way. Those are useful places to start the work.

A note from Josh
My background spans steel buildings, construction, sales and business operations. Products, quotes, suppliers, distributor support and business systems have all been part of the work.
That experience shapes what I pay attention to now. A customer needs enough information to make a decision. Someone in the business needs to follow up. The words on the website need to reflect what the business can actually deliver.
I enjoy learning how those parts fit together: what you're good at, what your customers value, and what has become hard to explain while you're busy doing the work.
Knighton Digital brings that understanding into the design, writing, development and practical systems around your business. I stay close to the thinking and the making, so the detail we uncover has somewhere useful to go.
The knowledge behind the work
The reasons you recommend one product over another. The question you ask before giving a price. The small detail that tells a customer they're in good hands.
A lot of that knowledge lives in conversations and experience. It deserves a place in how the business presents itself.
I can start with rough notes, existing pages, brochures, product information and a proper conversation. I ask questions, research the detail and bring back a draft to work through together. You check the facts, add the nuance and help shape something that sounds like you.
Your time is valuable. I want the time we spend together to go into the things that need your knowledge and judgement.

The name and the knight
The knight in the logo is a chess piece, built from pixels. It can jump over the pieces in its path. For me, it represents looking at a challenge from another angle and finding a practical way through.
The name has a second reading, too: Knight on digital, branding, search, design or strategy. It is about bringing the right skills to the problem and connecting the work, rather than treating every part as a separate job.
That thinking carries into the details here. The stepped edges and small pixels come from the knight; the work starts with understanding what your business needs to do next.
